Players, teams, coaches recognized for achievements during 2020 Fall Season

Westerville South High School celebrated its first OCC Capital Division championship in a decade. Westerville North High School had its first winning season since 2004. Six athletes received Player of the Year honors while four coaches were recognized as Coach of the Year in their respective sports. 

Highlights from the 2020 Fall season include:

Westerville Central High School

FOOTBALL 
7-2 record, Division I Regional Runner-up

Zeke Healy - OCC Player of the Year (2nd consecutive year)

OCC Champions, Division I District Runner-up

Ava Hampton - OCC Player of the Year

Shelley Ebright - OCC Coach of the Year

OCC Champions

Josh Qian - OCC Player of the Year, Division I State Qualifier (2nd consecutive year)

Kyle Baker - OCC Coach of the Year

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Division I Regional Qualifier

Tara Will - Division I State Qualifier

6-4 (first winning season since 2004), tied for 2nd place in the OCC Capital Division

Brennan Albertini - OCC Defensive Player of the Year
