The Westerville South Theatre Department invites everyone to attend a performance of The Jungle Book at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 31; at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 1; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 2.

“Our performers will present their interpretation of Rudyard Kipling's classic tale of Mowgli, the man cub, and the other jungle animals that help him find the true meaning of family and home,” said Matt Wolfe, director of WSHS Troupe 513. “Children of all ages will have the opportunity to spend time with the cast and crew, discover what goes into a set, explore the set, and become part of the show.”

Wolfe noted that the 50-minute, one-act presentation is appropriate for all ages. Westerville City Schools’ kindergarten through eighth grade teachers have been given the opportunity to involve their students in writing and drawing contests pertaining to the story. Student artwork will be displayed at the theatre during the show.

Tickets may be purchased for $10 online at https://www.locallevelevents.com/events/details/8788 and also at the door on the day of each performance.
