Students interested in participating in hands-on lab experiences at the Columbus Career Centers had an opportunity to visit Columbus Downtown and Fort Hayes on Wednesday, November 13.
Each career center provides college preparatory and dual college credit academics in addition to nearly 30 career and technical programs designed to prepare students for college and career. Students must complete an application and be accepted to a program in order to participate as a junior. Pupils should consider submitting their application before the priority deadlines as programs do fill quickly. Paper applications were distributed after the visit (and can be downloaded online) and the priority application deadline is December 19, 2019.
Columbus Career Centers provide an opportunity for families to visit during an open house that will be held on Wednesday, December 11, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the programs that interest your child. The event will include pizza and door prizes.
