Representatives from the Columbus Career Centers, Fort Hayes and Columbus Downtown High School, and the Delaware Area Career Center visited sophomores at all three Westerville high schools during the past two weeks to share information about the exciting programming available during their junior and senior years.

Each career center provides college preparatory and dual college credit academics, in addition to nearly 40 career and technical programs designed to prepare students for college and careers.  More detailed descriptions of the programs offered at each career center can be found online at http://bit.do/WCScareercenter.

Pupils interested in learning more about the programs they heard about are encouraged to sign up for Career Center Visit Days.  Columbus’s Visit Day will take place on November 13 and Delaware’s Visit Day is scheduled for November 22.  Students will have the opportunity to see the labs in action and meet with pupils and faculty for programs in which they are interested.  Visit Day permission slips are due by October 17.
