High School Schedule Pick-Up Announced

The first day of classes for Westerville high school students is Tuesday, August 13.

The Westerville City School District is collecting Emergency Medical and Parent Permission information through the PowerSchool Parent Portal, which should open by August 1.  All forms should be completed online, including the Emergency Medical Form, the Student Code of Conduct, the Publicity Consent Form, and the Walking Field Trip form.  Parents and guardians of returning students should have already created a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access student information.  Please contact your school office if you have forgotten your login information or if you have a student new to the district and have not yet created your account. 

Fees must be paid prior to or during schedule pick-up.  Payment can be made through EZPay, check, cash, or money order. 

  • Westerville Central High School students should observe the following times for schedule pick-up and school pictures:  Juniors and seniors, August 6 between 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.; and sophomores, August 7 from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.  Freshmen will be divided up by the birth month over the four sessions. August 6, 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. (January - March), August 6, 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. (April - June), August 7, 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. (July - September), August 7, 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. (October - December). Parents must complete the emergency medical and parent permission forms online using the PowerSchool Parent Portal.  We will be collecting school fees for the 2019-2020 school year at schedule pick-up; all outstanding fees and fines must be paid prior to picking up a schedule.  For your convenience, you can pay fees online using EZPay and complete online forms at home.  A new student orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.  All students are strongly encouraged to attend schedule pick-up.
  • Westerville North High School students should pick up schedules on Wednesday, August 7, from 8:00 a.m. to noon or from 3:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. New this year: School photographers are taking school pictures and printing student ID’s during Schedule Pick-up so please plan to attend!  That evening at 7:00 p.m., we are holding an Orientation in the Warrior Performing Arts Center for all students new to North.  All forms must be completed online through PowerSchool Parent Portal.  School fees can be paid online using EZPay beginning on July 30, or at schedule pickup, with cash, check or money order.  On August 13, students should report to Advisory by 7:25 a.m. to receive their “Official Schedule” printed on blue paper.  Our annual Senior Yellow Rose Ceremony will take place at 7:30 a.m. in the Main Gym on August 14. Senior Parents are invited and encouraged to attend!  On that day, freshman, sophomores, and juniors should again report to Advisory by 7:25 a.m., but seniors must report to the Warrior Performing Arts Center by 7:15 a.m.  
  • Westerville South High School sophomores, juniors and seniors should pick up their schedules and take school and ID photos on Tuesday, August 6 from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.; or 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.  A New Student (non-freshman) Orientation will take place at 5:00 p.m. on August 6 in the iStudio.  Freshmen Orientation is slated for Wednesday, August 7, from noon to 5:30 p.m.  Participants should plan to attend the entire time.  Registration/check in and lunch will be held from noon to 12:30 p.m.  Activities will include a pep rally, schedule receipt, locker information, team building activities, school and ID photos, and tour of the building.  Lunch will be provided for all incoming freshmen participants.  A meeting for parents of freshmen is scheduled that same day from 5:00 – 5:30 p.m.
