Rotary Club of Westerville Awards Three Scholarships to Deserving Students

The Rotary Club of Westerville has announced the names of three scholarship recipients. 

Winner of the Otterbein Scholarship is Grace Livingston, a senior at Westerville South High School.  She has been an I CAN volunteer, volunteers at WARM, for the Brian Muha Foundation, Columbus Marathon and Special Olympics Soccer.   She also works two jobs.  This is an $8,000 award.  

The first winner of the Ohio Scholarship is Westerville Central High School senior Allison Miller.   She, too, is headed to Otterbein in the fall.  She has been selected as a cheerleader at Otterbein.  While in high school, Miller participated in KUBS - a club that partners able students with special needs pupils.  She was also a National Honor Society member.  This is a $4,000 prize. 

The second winner of the Ohio Scholarship is Westerville North’s Megan Zody, headed to Mount Union to study Exercise Science and play softball.  She participated in the Rotary Youth Leadership Award program last summer, and was a Student of the Month in September.  She plans to become a physical therapist.   This, too, is a $4,000 award.
