Westerville Partners for Education (WPE) announced recently that Starry Night, its family STEAM learning festival, is on “pause” in 2019. “Powered by an all-volunteer force, we were unable to gather sufficient volunteer leaders to ensure a quality experience in 2019 and beyond,” said WPE Board Member Stephanie Henderson. “We are committed to creating a sustainable effort for a quality Starry Night in 2020 and beyond.”
Henderson said the organization is seeking committed Volunteer Leaders for the following roles:
- Starry Night Co-chair(s)
- Volunteer Coordinator Chair
- Facilities Chair (school and security)
- Sponsors Chair
- Marketing Chair (electronic media, print media, community outreach)
- Five Zone Captains (Exhibitors)
