Westerville South Athletes Sign Letters of Intent to Compete at Collegiate Level

Friends, family members, coaches, staff and administrators gathered in the auditorium at Westerville South High School on Friday afternoon, February 9, to watch and celebrate as eight outstanding student athletes signed Letters of Intent to play sports and continue their education at the collegiate level. 

College Athlete Recognition and Signing Day honorees included football players Jaelen Gill (The Ohio State University), Tayon Howard (Urbana University), Michael McLemore (University of Findlay) and Max Barber (Ashland University).  Also signing Letters of Intent were soccer players Malani Lungu (Tiffin University), Chandler Cordell (Southern State Community College), Jeriel Adarquah-Yiadom (Davidson College) and Chris Lytus (University of Findlay).                                                                              

South’s Athletic Director, Josh DeVoll, hosted the ceremony and congratulated these seniors on their outstanding high school career and their commitment to continue athletics at the collegiate level.
