Following a highly competitive audition process, two student musicians from the Westerville City School District were accepted to perform with the Ohio Music Education Association’s South-Central Region Orchestra on Sunday, November 19. Harry Passerrello, from Westerville North High School, played cello; and Nathaniel Kinser, a Westerville South pupil, played the violin.
Participants rehearsed all weekend for the concert, which took place at Dublin Coffman High School, and was led by guest conductor Soo Han.
