This morning, a rooftop HVAC unit burned out at Westerville South High School. As a precaution, school officials evacuated the building and contacted the Westerville Fire Department to assess the situation. It was only a matter of minutes before it was determined that students could return to the building and resume their day. The particular wing of the school where there was a lingering odor has been aired out and the day will continue as planned.
