The first day of classes for Westerville high school students is Thursday, August 18.
This year the Westerville City School District will begin collecting Emergency Medical and Parent Permission forms through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. All forms should be completed online, including the Emergency Medical Form, the Student Code of Conduct, the Publicity Consent Form, and the Walking Field Trip form. Parents and guardians of returning students should have already created a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access student information. Please contact your school office if you have forgotten your login information or if you have a student new to the district and have not yet created your account.
School fees are not due until October 2016. Payment can be made by EZPay, check, cash or money order.
- Westerville Central High School students should observe the following times for schedule pick-up and school pictures: juniors and seniors, August 10 between 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.; freshmen and sophomores, August 11 from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Parents must complete the emergency medical and parent permission forms online using the PowerSchool Parent Portal. We will not be collecting school fees for the 2016-2017 school year at schedule pick-up, however all outstanding fees and fines must be paid prior to picking up a schedule. A new student orientation will be held on Thursday, August 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. All students are strongly encouraged to attend schedule pick-up. Students who do not pick up their schedules should report directly to the auditorium on the first morning of school.
- Westerville North High School juniors and seniors should pick up schedules on Wednesday, August 10 between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Freshmen and sophomores can pick up their schedules on Thursday, August 11, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Freshmen and New Student Orientation will be held in the auditorium at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, August 11. All forms must be completed online through PowerSchool Parent Portal. We will not be collecting school fees for the 2016-2017 school year at schedule pick-up. On August 18, all students should report to advisory by 7:25 a.m. where they will receive instructions on opening day activities. Our annual senior ceremony will take place at 7:30 a.m. in the gymnasium on Friday, August 19. On that day, freshmen, sophomores and juniors will report to their first scheduled class. Seniors should report to the auditorium by 7:15 a.m.
- Westerville South High School students can pick up their schedules during the following times: Juniors and seniors - Wednesday, August 10, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.; and freshmen and sophomores - Thursday, August 11, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Parents must complete all forms online using the PowerSchool Parent Portal. We will not be collecting school fees for the 2016-2017 school year at schedule pick-up. A freshman and New Student Orientation program will be held for students and parents on Thursday, August 11 in the Westerville South High School auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
