Cherrington Elementary School students display the Kindness Kits they created for the Stowe Mission of Central Ohio.
Cherrington Elementary School used its annual Family Night on February 20, 2020, as an opportunity for students, staff and parents to create Kindness Kits for the Stowe Mission of Central Ohio. Sponsored by Cherrington’s Parent Teacher Association, this activity resulted in more than 200 kits being filled with a variety of supplies and donated to meet the most basic needs of central Ohio families facing hardships. Members of the school’s Student Council helped the representative from Stowe Mission to load the Kindness Kits into their vehicle during a subsequent visit to Cherrington to collect the donation and thank everyone for their efforts.
