Friends, family members, coaches, teammates, teachers and administrators gathered in the Gallery at Westerville North High School on Wednesday, May 9, to watch and celebrate as Lucas Siebert signed a Letter of Intent to continue his education and wrestle at West Virginia University (WVU) in Morgantown. Seibert has been involved in wrestling since second grade, where he wrestled for the Westerville United Youth Program. He attended Walnut Springs before Westerville North. He has continued to serve as a volunteer coach at Westerville United. Siebert has been a member of several club programs including the Cardinal Wrestling Club out of Otterbein and the Ohio Regional Training Center. He is a four-year varsity letter winner. He plans to major in Nutrition and Exercise Science at WVU.
