Richard Du, a senior at Westerville North High School, has been awarded a $500 scholarship from Leadership Westerville. Du is a 2015 graduate of Leadership Today, a nine-month program for high school freshmen. Graduates of the program are eligible for the Leadership Westerville scholarship.
Du, who holds a 4.2 grade point average, will attend The Ohio State University this fall to major in either Business or Computer Engineering. The Leadership Westerville scholarship is based on academic achievement, school leadership roles, community involvement, school activities, work experience, and future goals.
Leadership Westerville Program Manager Matt Lofy shared, “Richard is a well-rounded young man and is very deserving of this scholarship.”
