Updates!!!

1. Mandatory parent/student meeting for our DC trip scheduled for Monday April 10th @7 in the Blendon gymnasium. 

2. I'm excited to share that we were able to add to our itinerary The National Museum of African American History and Culture. We will visit this museum on Thursday May 4th at 1:00 during our trip!  Click HERE to view information about the museum.

3. Scratch and Support Fundraiser! A safe and secure way to help raise money for students to attend the D.C.. trip! Students can sign up for Scratch and Support tickets in the main office with Tina Showalter by submitting the permission slip. Basically, students can ask people in the community, family, friends, etc., to scratch off a bubble that will reveal a dollar amount they would help donate. The donation amounts range from 50 cents to 3 dollars. This makes it a small enough amount that many would be willing to contribute without having to spend a bunch of money buying an item. Students who complete an entire Scratch and Sponsor ticket, will receive $89 of the $100 collected to go towards their trip. Using these cards allows those who are donating to know that the money will go securely to this cause. You can use the cards for your own student, or to help another student in need of help with payment. Please contact Tina Showalter for more information. The Fundraiser runs through March 19th.
