Comparative Government and Politics is a year long survey course that offers a review of the following countries with respect to social, economic and political developments in the following countries: Great Britain, The European Union, Russia, Mexico, Nigeria, China and Iran.  Emphasis will be on comparing these states to the United States system of governance and detailed analysis of how each state compares with the other.  Successful completion of the course will garner 1 credit and the student will be eligible to earn college credit upon passing the AP Exam in May.
