Welcome to Mrs. Cody's Website

    Hello, my name is Kim Cody. I can't wait to get to know
you and your child this year!

    This is my second year back in fourth grade after having taught third grade for four years. Previously, I taught fourth grade for two years and first grade for seven years all in Westerville. I have also taught preschool, kindergarten, and exploratory Spanish. I have also substitute taught in grades K – 8.

    I grew up in Westerville and graduated from Westerville North High School. I attended the Ohio State University, graduating with a degree and licensure in Elementary Education Grades 1-8.  I am also licensed in Early Childhood Education PreK – 3, and have a Reading Endorsement Grades K – 12. I earned my Reading Endorsement and Master’s Degree in Reading from Otterbein University.

    I live in Westerville with my husband Andy, who is also a graduate of Westerville North and Ohio State. We have two daughters who both graduated from Westerville Central High School and are currently attending Miami University. Morgan is in grad school and is completing an internship in order to become a school psychologist. Martha is finishing up her degree in accounting and is studying to take the CPA exam..
