Student thespians at Westerville North High School will stage four one-act comedies at 7:00 p.m. on December 5-7. Their peers will direct them – seven members of North’s Class of 2020.
The production, known as Senior-Directed One Acts (SD1A), is an annual tradition at North. It provides 12th grade theatre students a unique opportunity to step into leadership roles. SD1A is sponsored by Westerville North Theatre Boosters, with proceeds going toward scholarships for graduating North theatre students.
Kaitlynn Gleich and Natalie Whaley will direct Appropriate Audience Behavior; Alexys Lieb and Aliyah Yacelga will direct Bad Auditions by Bad Actors; Shelby Abayie and Lindsey Hartshorn will direct 13 Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview; and Jeffrey Evans will direct Wait Wait…I Can Explain!
