Westerville North’s Freeman signs with Massachusetts Maritime Academy for volleyball

Ameena Freeman is joined by her proud parents, Seema and Spencer Freeman, as she signs to play volleyball at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

 

 

 

Ameena Freeman has been accepted into the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and on Wednesday, January 15, she signed to be the Libero for the Buccaneers Girls Volleyball team. Freeman has played volleyball since middle school and participated on the WNHS Girls Volleyball Varsity roster the past three years. She has maintained an excellent grade point average, resulting in Scholar Athlete status and membership in the National Honor Society. Freeman has received OCC Honorable and Special Mention awards, as well as a Coach's Award throughout her high school career. She serves as a Senior Class Officer and hopes to pursue a future career as an FBI agent.
