Middle Schools Schedule Pick-Up Times

The first day of school for 6th grade students is Tuesday, August 13.  Pupils in grades 7 and 8 will start school on Wednesday, August 14. 

The Westerville City School District is collecting Emergency Medical and Parent Permission information through the PowerSchool Parent Portal, which should open by August 1.  All forms should be completed online, including the Emergency Medical Form, the Student Code of Conduct, the Publicity Consent Form, and the Walking Field Trip form.  Parents and guardians of returning students should have already created a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access student information.  Please contact your school office if you have forgotten your login information or if you have a student new to the district and have not yet created your account. 

Fees must be paid prior to or during schedule pick-up.  Payment can be made through EZPay, check, cash, or money order. 

  • Blendon’s schedule pick-up will be held Tuesday, August 6, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.  Then again on Wednesday, August 7, from 10:00 a.m. - noon.  Students new to Westerville and sixth graders who did not attend Movin’ Up Night in the spring will have an opportunity to meet the administration of Blendon at a brief informational gathering in the gymnasium at 6:00 p.m. on August 6.  Yearbook and photo I.D. pictures will be taken during all schedule pick-up sessions with a picture make-up day on August 22 after homeroom.  Please look for your picture package order form in the mail from HR Imaging.  Curriculum night will take place on Thursday, August 22 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  
  • Genoa students may pick up their schedules on August 6 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. for grade six only.  School and I.D. pictures for sixth graders will be taken during schedule pick-up.  Please check the mail for picture packages from HR Imaging.  Sixth graders who did not attend Moving Up Night in the spring will have an opportunity to meet the administration of Genoa at a brief informational gathering in the gymnasium at 6:45 p.m. on August 6.  Schedule pick-up sessions for seventh and eighth grade students will be August 7 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.  School and I.D. pictures for seventh and eighth graders will be taken during schedule pick-up.  The first day of school for sixth grade will be Tuesday, August 13.  Seventh and eighth grade students will begin the school year on Wednesday, August 14.  Curriculum Night will be held on Thursday, August 22 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Heritage Middle School’s Back-to-School days will be August 6 and 7.  On August 6, sixth graders will pick up their schedules and have their school/I.D. pictures taken from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.  Orientation for sixth graders and their families will be at 6:30 p.m.in the gymnasium. On August 7, seventh and eighth graders will pick up their schedules and have their school/I.D. pictures taken from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. or 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Picture order forms have been mailed home from HR Imaging, and extra forms will be available during Back-to-School days.  Curriculum Night for all students and families will take place on Thursday, August 29 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  
  • Walnut Springs Schedule Pick-Up will take place on August 6 from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. for grade six and new students only.  An orientation program will be held that evening at 6:30 p.m. for families of new students and sixth graders.  The annual hot dog party for new students will also be held on August 6 immediately following the orientation program on the football field/cafe (weather permitting).  Schedule Pick-Up for seventh and eighth grade students will be August 7 from 8:30 -10:30 a.m. and 4:00 - 6:30 p.m.  School/I.D. pictures will be taken during Schedule Pick-Up; order forms have been mailed to home from HR Imaging.  Sixth grade Middle School 101 Family workshops will be held August 13 from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. or 11:30 - 1:30 p.m.  Curriculum Night will be held August 22 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
