The 2018 Central Ohio Leadership Academy (COLA) class has been selected and among the students chosen to participate is Westerville North High School’s Shelby Abayie.
COLA’s flagship program will be held from July 23-28, bringing more than 50 high school juniors and seniors (representing 37 schools from 20 districts) together from across Central Ohio to develop their leadership effectiveness. COLA cultivates leadership skills; enables students to work with others and lead with purpose; and encourages them to make positive changes in their schools and communities.
Since its founding in 2011, COLA has affected the lives of more than 350 students from 86 different high schools throughout Central Ohio. Continued programming throughout the school year also provides a means for students to receive positive reinforcement, inspiration, mentorship, accountability and continued skill development.
