For making a positive impact on student learning through innovative, personalized technology integration, Heather Griffith, a fourth grade teacher at Fouse Elementary School, will receive the WOSU Classroom Outstanding Teacher Award. She will be honored at the WOSU Classroom Innovation Mixer on April 25, and will also receive $500 for her classroom. Westerville City Schools Technology Integration Coach Drew Farrell nominated Griffith for the award, saying she is well regarded as a master teacher in her building and throughout the district. The Westerville City Schools Board of Education and Superintendent John Kellogg recognized her for this accomplishment at their April 9 meeting.
