Blendon Middle School’s 8th grade Video Game Group held a Smash Bros Tournament last month with great success.  The high-energy, competitive event ended with Chase Nixon taking first place.

The group started last year as a pilot project and academic incentive and to celebrate gaming and coding; further develop gaming and social etiquette; and expand on STEM careers.  It is led by Trebor Self (president), Stephen Beach (vice president), Peter Heermann (STEM connection), Aiden Seger (assistance computer expert), and Lewis Preston (technological assistant).
