Proving that Halloween fun is not just for kids, many Westerville City Schools employees went all out in the costume department on October 31.  Transportation personnel embraced a 1950s theme this year.  Early Learning Center staff and teachers donned a multitude of creative looks as they passed out treats to approximately 240 preschoolers.  At Hanby Elementary, students and staff were encouraged to dress like their favorite book characters.  At Genoa Middle School, 8th grade students participated in a Monster Mash.  The event was organized by Amy Erath, Ashley Frownfelter, Jodi Russell, Brandy Spears and Bryan Stumpf in order to supplement the cost of the field trip to see a Chamber Theatre Production on November 28. The troupe will be presenting snippets of The Tell Tale Heart, The Legends of Sleepy Hollow, The Raven, and many other short stories that are used in the 8th grade curriculum.
