G&J Pepsi and Frito are collaborating with local Kroger stores this weekend to generate some back-to-school excitement through a Stuff the Bus event that will result in local students receiving much needed supplies.

On August 4 - 6, Westerville City Schools will have buses parked at all three local Kroger stores, which are located at 7345 State Route 3, 55 West Schrock Road, and 5991 Sunbury Road.  Each vehicle will be adorned with brightly colored “Stuff the Bus” banners.  Shoppers are encouraged to take advantage of the tax-free weekend to buy school supplies and help Stuff the Bus for students in need.  Pepsi will provide outdoor grilling events for customers during lunchtime at all 13 participating Kroger stores in the region.  Purchase your supplies in-store by August 6 and place them in the collection box.  Items most needed are pencils, filler paper, crayons, rulers, scissors and glue.  On Sunday, August 6, from noon to 2:00 p.m., join in the festivities, which will feature free samples, lunch, games and entertainment.

Donated school supplies will be delivered throughout the Westerville City School District on Monday, August 7.
