The promise that they would get to go to lunch in a limousine with Mark Twain Elementary School Principal Vicki Moss and secretary Susan Kaul motivated students to raise $13,551.82 during their annual Walk-a-Thon.  Top fundraisers Max King, Abrianna Mikel, Zachary Prenoveau, Caeden Mills, and Ella Northeimer won the grand prize.  Pupils walked to earn money for their school, got some exercise, and fostered friendships and school spirit.  A DJ was on hand to add to the fun and help keep them moving.  The school staff expressed appreciation to all the volunteers and donors for their efforts in making this event a rousing success.  Kim Weeks’ class had the highest overall total donations of $870.41 and will enjoy an ice cream sundae party.
