As if finding their classroom and meeting their new teacher was not exciting enough, students at Alcott Elementary School got to enjoy an outdoor carnival during Back to School Day on August 11. Thanks to the PTA, children got to participate in bounce-house type activities, and eat cotton candy and snow cones. A number of greatly-appreciated volunteers were present to make sure everything ran smoothly.
August 18 marks the first day of classes for nearly 15,000 pupils in the Westerville City School District. Back to School activities and schedule pick-ups started this week.
