ABC 6/FOX 28 Meteorologist Bill Kelly Wows the Crowd at Pointview

Pointview students watched in awe as WSYX meteorologist Bill Kelly used dry ice and water to create a cloud.

 

 

Bill Kelly, Chief Meteorologist for ABC 6/FOX 28, visited third and fourth grade students at Pointview Elementary School on Tuesday afternoon, November 17, to talk about weather and answer questions from the inquisitive crowd.  He also created a cloud for the group, using dry ice and water. 

Kelly, who holds degrees from California State University and Mississippi State, has been an active, certified member with the National Weather Association for the past 13 years. He has received five Emmy awards, four AP awards for Best Weather/Anchor in Ohio, and was voted Best Weathercaster in both Columbus Monthly and Phoenix Magazine.  He has also made guest appearances 12 times on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and four times on “World News Tonight.”
