On the last day of school, Alcott Elementary celebrated the end of the year in a grand way. Students graduating this year from all three Westerville high schools, and who were part of the first kindergarten class when Alcott opened in 2002, were invited to be a part of the festivities. They were treated to a “nostalgic” display of pictures and information from their kindergarten year, and then joined in an assembly that included a slide show of pictures of staff members as children, along with recognition of the four teachers who are retiring from the school – Pete Baylis, Mike Mazzon, Kim Rostorfer, and Bob Talley.
