Fifth grade students in the Alcott Elementary School classrooms of Amanda Thompson and Mike Mazzon hosted a Wax Museum on May 13. Parents, family members, friends and classmates packed the Media Center to see the likes of dozens of historical figures including Susan B. Anthony, Ben Franklin, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jesse Owens, Maya Angelou, Amelia Earhart and many more. The characters “came to life” for visitors, as each child recited interesting facts about the individual they chose to portray.
