Genoa Middle School students participated in District 6 History Day Competition on March 28 at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. Research and projects were created following the theme “Leadership and Legacy.” Moving on to state competition are:

- Aiden Fay and Adam Keith, website, Gunpei Yokoi (Caley Nestor-Baker, Deanna McDaniel, teachers);
- Ema Rennie, paper, Gary Webb (Caley Nestor-Baker, Deanna McDaniel, teachers);
- Sarah Wolfe, paper, St. Joan of Arc (Ryan Borland, Deanna McDaniel, teachers); and
- James Gooding and Thomas Stathulis, exhibit, Harlan Showers (Lisa Lunn, Deanna McDaniel, teachers).
The State competition will be held on April 25 at Ohio Wesleyan.
