Mary Rose Moore will compete in Montreal.
Westerville North High School sophomore Mary Rose Moore will travel to Montreal, Canada from March 26 - April 6 to compete in the Irish World Dance Competition. She will join more than 6,000 other competitors representing countries from all around the globe. In order to qualify, Moore earned 10th place in North America and 7th place in the Mid America competitions. She has trained for three hours each day over the past 12 years. At the competition she will complete in one solo category and four different team dance categories. Moore said she is thankful to the dance coaches and her family for all the support they have provided over the years.
