Westerville North’s Mason Miller will Swim for Buffalo

Mason Miller, a senior at Westerville North High School, has signed his National Letter of Intent to swim for the State University of New York at Buffalo in the fall of 2015.

Miller began swimming at the age of six for the Pacifica Sea Lions (Pacifica, California) where he holds multiple team records.  He also swam and holds multiple team records for Napa Valley Swim Team,(Napa, California), San Ramon Valley Livermore Aquatics (San Ramon, California) as well as The Ohio State Swim Club (Columbus, Ohio). 

As a high school athlete, Miller achieved the following:

  • 2012 – 200 Medley Relay school record, San Ramon Valley High School, San Ramon, California;
  • 2013 – 50 yard Freestyle State Champion, Westerville North High School (new school record: 20.87);
  • 2013 – 100 yard Freestyle, second place, Westerville North High School;
  • 2014 – 100 yard Butterfly State Champion, Westerville North High School (new school record: 48.30); and
  • 2014 – 100 Freestyle third place, Westerville North High School (new school record 45.51).

Miller is excited to begin his final swim season as a Westerville North Warrior and is looking forward to competing in the Mid-American Conference as a Buffalo Bull.
