The Wilder Elementary School PTA hosted its annual Oktoberfest on Thursday evening, October 16.  Families packed the building to partake in carnival-type games, where they earned points to redeem for prizes.  Activities were manned by parent volunteers and Otterbein students.  The Cake Walk, which took place in the art room, proved popular once again, as did the Haunted Library.  The fourth grade class sold brats and hot dogs to hungry visitors in the cafeteria.  New this year was a refreshment truck out front where attendees could purchase shaved ice and listen to steel drum music.  Children and parents also got the chance to shop at the Scholastic Book Fair.
