Mark Twain Elementary School students have been eagerly awaiting their 3rd annual Walk-a-thon.  Due to rainy weather last week, the event was moved to today.  They have exceeded their $10,000 goal by $3,176 and can’t wait to see their principal, Vicki Moss, dressed up like a sock monkey at the event!

The Walk-a-thon will be held at Walnut Springs, where the children will walk the track with their homemade classroom flags, enjoy great music, dance, and play field games.   Students and staff are looking forward to an exciting day to support and celebrate their school.  Funds raised will be used towards enrichment programs, clubs, family events, spirit wear, playground maintenance, assemblies, classroom supplies and much more.
