The Westerville Education Association honored Educators of the Year. Alcott’s Imani O. created the winning theme for Rotary’s July 4th parade.  April 29th marked the 9th annual Arts Alive Festival at Westerville Central. Joshua M. was Alcott Elementary School’s honorary Principal for a Day. Genoa Township SWAT Officers participated in Genoa Middle School’s Career Day. Delegates were chosen to attend Buckeye Boys and Girls State. Whittier students celebrated the end of the school year with Super Games. Minerva Park Police Chief Kim Nuesse greeted Girls on the Run members at Hawthorne. The 2nd & 7 Foundation brought OSU basketball player Matt Terwilliger to Cherrington. Alcott first graders opened the “El Toro Loco” restaurant to rave reviews.
