Born and raised in Northeastern Ohio, Tracy is a proud product of public school education. She and her family moved to Westerville in 1989. Upon graduating from The Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology, she served as a preschool teacher for both the Head Start and YMCA programs.

A mother of twin daughters and a younger son. Tracy, a certified Orton-Gillingham specialist, is a business owner of EXORO Learning Group, which provides reading support to kids with dyslexia or young struggling readers.

Tracy is an active community member and was honored with a GEM (Great Educator Mentor) award for her work in the Westerville City School District. She has served on organizations such as, Westerville Parent Council, as the 1st Vice President, Westerville Education Challenge (anti-bullying organization), as a Board Member, The Emerson Magnet PTA, as Parent Council Representative, The Blendon Middle School PTO, as Parent Council Representative and Vice President.
