Nancy Nestor-Baker is the longest serving female board member in the history of Westerville City Schools, serving on the Board from 1991-2005 and from 2014-present.  Nancy has lived most of her life in the Westerville school district and is a member of the Westerville High School Class of 1975 (graduated in 1974). She is honored to be a member of the Westerville South Alumni Hall of Fame.

Nancy has served six terms as Board President and four terms as Vice President. She has acted as board liaison in areas such as finance, curriculum, personnel, policy, strategic planning, governmental relations, facilities and business operations, and communications. A former university and nonprofit administrator, Dr. Nestor-Baker's career has focused on developing education initiatives and partnerships, improving outreach and engagement, and strengthening organizations. Her research and teaching include topics such as trust development, partnership creation and sustainability, school governance and leadership, tacit knowledge, and organizational engagement. A three-time graduate of The Ohio State University, Nancy holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration, a Master of Arts in Gifted Education, and a Bachelor of Science in English Education.

Nancy lives in Old Westerville. She is active in several organizations, including Central College Presbyterian Church, Uptown Westerville, Inc, Neighborhood Bridges, Westerville Symphony, and the Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center. Her three children graduated from the school system and two of her grandchildren are involved in the schools.
