College Credit Plus

2019-2020 CCP Information

The CCP Program allows eligible Ohio students in grades 7 through 12 to earn college and high school credit through the successful completion of college courses.  Students interested in CCP (which includes, but is not limited to, specialized programs such as the John Glenn Internship as well as CCP courses offered on a student’s high school campus) must turn in an intent form to their school counselor, demonstrate college-readiness, and be accepted by the college/university they wish to attend. Each college/university has their own GPA and standardized test minimums. 

Class of 2019 - if you want your CCP college credits to transfer to the post-secondary institution you are attending in the fall, you will need to request transcripts directly from the college/university where you took CCP classes.  You can find transcript request information for each partner institution below:

CCP Partner Institution Information

Columbus State Community College Updates:

  • Find additional details about CCP on CSCC's website: https://www.cscc.edu/academics/college-credit-plus/ and be sure to check your CSCC email often once you are accepted!

  • Parking 

    • Find information about purchasing a parking pass ($35) and a temporary pass to use on CSCC's website here (find the parking info under the Other Common Questions section).

    • Please note the following when you go to purchase the permit online:

      • You will be asked to agree to pay a specific amount (generally, the account balance). However, if funded through College Credit Plus and meeting all requirements, when you select that option, you are only agreeing to pay $35 permit fee.

  • Textbooks 

    • Check your CSCC email for your book voucher!  For additional information about CSCC textbooks, please visit the CSCC Bookstore's site for CCP students at http://www.cscc.edu/services/bookstore/college-credit-plus-books.shtml.

      • If you change your schedule and no longer need a textbook, please return it to the bookstore as soon as possible.

      • At the end of the semester, you will turn in any of your CSCC textbooks on a CSCC buyback list sent to you through your college email to the CSCC Bookstore.  The buyback list will also be posted here once confirmed. 

      • Online Course Students will need to check their Student Email and Blackboard Accounts each day once the semester begins to receive important information regarding their courses 
         

  • Be aware of Important Dates such as:
    • Classes begin Monday, September 26
    • Last Day to drop course(s) with no financial penalty: Friday, September 6th 
    • Last day to withdraw from a full-term class without a W (students would be expected to pay for the cost of the course): Monday, September 16th        
    • Last day to drop classes: Thursday, October 31st
    • Semester Ends: December 14th

Otterbein University Updates:

  • Find additional details about CCP at Otterbein at https://www.otterbein.edu/apply/college-credit-plus/ and be sure to check your Otterbein email often once you are accepted!
     
  • Textbooks
    • Pick up your textbooks directly at the Otterbein Bookstore.  Be sure to share you are a CCP student at Westerville to charge the books to the district's CCP account.
    • If you change your schedule and no longer need a textbook, please return it to the bookstore.
    • At the end of the semester, you will turn in your Otterbein textbooks to the Academic Enrichment Center (across from Westerville South) at the end of the term.  You will be charged the cost of the textbooks if they are not returned.

The Ohio State University Updates:

  • For more information about the OSU Academy program, visit https://academy-ccp.osu.edu/.
     
  • Textbooks 
    • To pick up your textbooks at the OSU Bookstore, bring your OSU CCP Book Voucher (provided by the OSU CCP office), Buck ID, and class schedule to charge your required course materials onto the district's CCP account.
    • If you change your schedule and no longer need a textbook, please return it to the bookstore.
    • At the end of the semester, you will turn in your OSU textbooks to the Academic Enrichment Center (across from Westerville South) at the end of the term.  You will be charged the cost of the textbooks if they are not returned.

University of Toledo Updates:

  • Textbooks
    • You will receive textbook information from UT through your email.
    • At the end of the semester, you will turn in your Otterbein textbooks to the Academic Enrichment Center (across from Westerville South) at the end of the term.  You will be charged the cost of the textbooks if they are not returned.

Ashland University
