Cherrington Elementary School Principal Andy Heck was recently named City BBQ’s local “Hero of the Month.” His photo and nomination were posted on the wall at the Westerville restaurant. His nominator said that Mr. Heck “is absolutely amazing with all of the children. In all my years of being at Cherrington, and being a former teacher, he is the first principal that has been so positively involved with our kids. He engages with the kids in a way that they can open up to him, and they look up to him.”
