During their annual Walk A Thon, which took place on September 21, students at Cherrington Elementary School raised more than $8,000, which will be used for classroom grants, field trips, school performances, COSI on Wheels, and Field Day.  Every pupil and staff member received a Cherrington Cougars t-shirt, and all were invited to walk or run around the track, do a little dancing, and enjoy some snacks, which were provided by the PTA.  Principal Andy Heck thanked enthusiastic participants for their effort, and expressed his appreciation to those who helped organized this popular event.
