Westerville City Schools Announces Summer Food Service Program Details

The Westerville City School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.  Meals will be provided to all eligible children free of charge.  (To be eligible to receive free meals at a residential or nonresidential camp, children must meet the income guidelines for reduced-price meals in the National School Lunch Program.  The income guidelines for reduced-price meals by family size are listed below.)  Children who are part of households that receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly foods stamps) benefits, or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) are automatically eligible to receive free meals.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the Program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.  Meals will be provided from June 13, 2018 through July 13, 2018 (no meals will be served on July 2, July 3 or July 4 due to school being closed for the holiday) at the sites and times as follows:

Heritage Middle School (Grades 4-8)
390 N. Spring Rd.
Westerville, OH  43082

McVay Elementary (Grades K-3)
270 S. Hempstead Rd.
Westerville, OH  43081

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. at both sites.

Lunch will be served from 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. at McVay; and noon - 12:30 p.m. at Heritage.
