Westerville City Schools offers a limited Magnet Program in the district that provides an alternative to the traditional delivery of content through the lenses of Math and Science, the Arts, and World Cultures.
Students enrolled in Westerville City Schools are eligible to participate in the Magnet Program and their selection to the program is determined by a random selection process.
Please join us for Magnet School Tours and Open Houses. During these times, we will open our schools for viewing and staff will be available to answer questions.
- Emerson Elementary, located at 44 North Vine Street, houses the World Culture Magnet Strand program. Emerson will be open on March 7 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
- Hanby Elementary, located at 56 South State Street, houses the Arts Magnet and the Math & Science Magnet Strand programs. Hanby will be open on March 7 from 6:00 -7:00 p.m.
