Cherrington Elementary School displayed one of its outstanding student achievement programs at this year’s Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Capital Conference and Trade Show, attended by more than 9,000 public education stakeholders.  The Student Achievement Fair, which highlights 100 innovative programs, is one of the most successful and rewarding exhibitions at the Capital Conference.

OSBA selected Michelle Lowe’s 4th grade class to participate and present about the success of their flexible seating initiative in the November 14 exhibition, based on the program’s creativity and positive impact on student achievement.  Students and staff from districts across the state displayed innovative programs and offered others the opportunity to observe and learn what Ohio public school districts are doing to enhance learning and student achievement in their schools.

School board members, administrators, teachers, students, vendors and guests attended the three-day Capital Conference on November 12-14 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
