Cherrington Elementary Families “traveled around the world” on the evening of Thursday, February 23.  The diversity of the school was highlighted by songs, clothing, food and traditions from many different countries.  Each continent was represented with games, literature, arts and crafts.  Westerville Public Library representatives provided interactive multicultural storytelling as well.  Kate Kestella displayed student artwork throughout the building and Tami Martine led grades 1-3 in songs from around the world.  The night included more than 50 different cultural samples of food made by many families.  The experience was a huge success, bringing the Cherrington community together for what Principal Andy Heck called “a magical night.”
