On Monday evening, October 1, Mark Yoho, Director of K-12 Services, State and District Partnerships at the College Board, was the guest speaker at a parent night at Westerville North High School.  Attendees:

  • Learned about several opportunities provided to students that come as a result of participating in the PSAT/SAT;
  • Received information on how to interpret PSAT/SAT scores and reports; and
  • Were informed of the free and personalized SAT practice students can do anytime, anywhere with Official SAT Practice from the Khan Academy.

PSAT test scores are scheduled to be released December 10-12, 2018.  Following the release of these test scores, a parent/student information session is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Westerville South High School on December 19, 2018.  The purpose of the meeting is to help attendees interpret results and then reflect on next steps in preparation for the SAT administration scheduled for Juniors March 6, 2019.  Parents are encouraged to attend with their students.
