The Westerville Education Foundation, Concord Counseling and The Arts Council of Westerville are pleased to announce a new, art-oriented community event, An Artful Affair.  All students, as well as amateur and professional artists alike, are encouraged to donate original art for inclusion as an auction item.  If you would like to make a donation, learn more about this event or contact us with a question, please visit www.westervilleeducationfoundation.com

An Artful Affair will take place on Friday, April 21, at the Everal Barn & Homestead, located at 60 N. Cleveland Ave.  The first part of the event will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and feature art-oriented activities for families, as well as an auction of student artwork.  Attendance is free and light refreshments will be available.  Families are encouraged to join us at the event, roll up their sleeves, have some fun and share their students’ artwork!

Then, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Everal Barn, the event shifts to “adults only” as guests enjoy live music, strolling appetizers and beverages.  Midway through the evening, WEF will honor teachers who have utilized WEF resources and/or been recognized through various WEF initiatives during the year.  Tickets for this event will be $35 per person, $60 per couple.  Everyone in attendance will have an opportunity to take home several pieces of high-quality art created and donated by local professional and amateur artists, including items from student artists and clients of Concord Counseling.  The art will be auctioned off throughout the evening in silent and live auction formats.

Proceeds from the event will support Concord Counseling and help fund WEF initiatives to enhance the education of Westerville City School students by promoting and supporting education initiatives undertaken by district employees.
