Attention all shoppers:  There’s a new way to buy items that will benefit the Westerville Education Foundation and it won’t cost you a dime.  People who use Amazon.com to make purchases can now enter Amazon through smile.amazon.com and choose the Westerville Education Foundation as their charity.  By doing so, a percentage of their purchase amount will be donated to the WEF.  Simple as that.

AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com.  The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5 percent of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organization selected by customers.  There is no cost to charitable organizations or to AmazonSmile customers.  Why not give it a try?

The Westerville Education Foundation was founded in 1993 with the sole purpose of enhancing the education of our students by promoting education initiatives undertaken by employees in the Westerville City School District.  Tax-deductible contributions received by the Foundation currently fund grants to teachers and other district employees to enable them to implement their initiatives in the classroom.  The current board is comprised of Westerville residents, parents of Westerville students, Westerville business leaders and other community leaders.
