Former Westerville South student Drew Phillips demonstrates the movement of a robot based on photosensors in its base.  This is one of many interesting applications of engineering shared with students on November 11.

Six former Westerville South High School students, all majoring in engineering at The Ohio State University, spent the day at South on Wednesday, November 11.  South science students were split into small groups where they went from station to station to observe applications of the various engineering majors offered at OSU.  Wildcat pupils were able to see the many opportunities available to them and talk with students who were in their same classes just a few short years ago.  Educators agreed it was a great day for all involved.
