Brennan Albertini from Westerville North High School, Fuanyi Fobellah from Westerville South High School, and Jake Gooding from Westerville North High School were named Academic All Ohio this year by the Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches Association (OHSWCA).
Students earning this honor must qualify for the OHSAA State wrestling championships and have a high school cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Their GPA must be accumulated over at least two semesters and calculated at the end of the semester prior to the student-athlete’s current wrestling season. The student’s school of attendance also must be a member of the Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches’ Association.
